Qualifications: Must have a current Mississippi LPN or RN license with current BLS and ACLS preferred. Strong computer skills including Windows OS, Microsoft Suite, and Electronic Health Record documentation experience required. Minimal 5 years nursing experience with ambulatory clinic experience preferred.

Job Description: Responsible for participating in planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of assigned Electronic Health Record (EHR) System. The CIS (Clinical Informatics Specialist) is responsible for facilitating communication from the end-users while working collaboratively and directly with management, information services, finance, and external parties. The CIS works to optimize the EHR design to meet the needs of a large group of interdisciplinary-end users, including physicians, nurses, ancillary, clinical, interdisciplinary team members, and administrative staff. The CIS participates on the EHR Team, establishing teamwork through appropriate deployment of process, technical, and human resources.

Hours: 08:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday with after-hours support availability when necessary
