Job Description Overview: Assists the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, established facility policies, and procedures as directed by the Administrator and/or the Medical Director, to provide appropriate care.

Required Qualifications
• A minimum, five (5) years of experience as a manager in a nursing home, or other related health care facilities.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in MS.
• Knowledgeable nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday 8-430 (may vary based on needs of facility)

• Required Management Call rotation.
